R David Murray ff22984ff1 Tweak programming faq examples so that it (mostly) passes doctest.
Back port of 0113247f894b from 3.3.

The exceptions are the import related questions at the end, which
need to be rewritten anyway, and a math example that doesn't
exist in the 3.3+ docs that I didn't bother trying to fix.

Note that PyErr_SetExcFromWindowsErrWithFilenameObjectAndSomeOtherParametersSoThatTheNameGetsSoLongThatNobodyIsEverGonnaUseThisStrangeFunctionForAnything is still undocumented.

two makefile macros SHLIB_SUFFIX and EXT_SUFFIX. SO now has the value of
  SHLIB_SUFFIX again (as in 2.x and 3.1). The SO macro is removed in 3.4.

Terry Jan Reedy 3b220e11eb Issue #17386 make.bat must run with Python 2 until Sphinx runs with Python 3.
If PYTHON is undefined, this fails without the launcher (installed with 3.3 or
from PyPI), but this is better than always failing. Patch from Zachary Ware.
