Antoine Pitrou e96d4ea4e2 Issue #1180193: When importing a module from a .pyc (or .pyo) file with 
an existing .py counterpart, override the co_filename attributes of all
code objects if the original filename is obsolete (which can happen if the
file has been renamed, moved, or if it is accessed through different paths).

Mark Dickinson 4c96fa5525 Issues #3167, #3682: tests for math.log and math.log10 were failing on 
Solaris and OpenBSD.  Fix this by handling special values and domain
errors directly in mathmodule.c, passing only positive nonspecial floats
to the system log/log10.

Amaury Forgeot d'Arc 322656596a Fixed issue #4233. 
Changed semantic of _fileio.FileIO's close()  method on file objects with closefd=False.
The file descriptor is still kept open but the file object behaves like a closed file.
The FileIO  object also got a new readonly attribute closefd.

Gregory P. Smith 0806749e63 Works around issue3863: freebsd4/5/6 and os2emx are known to have OS bugs when 
calling fork() from a child thread.  This disables that unit test (with a note
printed to stderr) on those platforms.

A caveat about buggy platforms is added to the os.fork documentation.

Amaury Forgeot d'Arc 05e344954d #3743: PY_FORMAT_SIZE_T is designed for the OS "printf" functions, not for 
PyString_FromFormat which has an independent implementation, and uses "%zd".

This makes a difference on win64, where printf needs "%Id" to display
64bit values. For example, queue.__repr__ was incorrect.

Brett Cannon 672237dc6c warnings.catch_warnings() now returns a list or None instead of the custom 
WarningsRecorder object. This makes the API simpler to use as no special object
must be learned.

Gregory P. Smith 980b99b529 - Issue #1204: The configure script now tests for additional libraries

Brett Cannon cdeb24bb05 GNU coding guidelines say that ``make check`` should verify the build. That 
clashes with what Python's build target did. Rename the target to 'patchcheck'
to avoid the culture clash.
