`reduce()` is called on line 55. Python 3 dropped reduce() as a builtin. https://docs.python.org/3/whatsnew/3.0.html#builtins encourages the rewriting of reduce() calls as explicit for loops or list comprehensions but I am not confident to try that in this context.
A lot of this is still stub code, but far enough along for discussion
and feedback. Some good example tests are TestVibration and TestBrownout
datatypes handled correctly now (previsouly all read as floats), added
flag to skip bad input lines, now prints some general log info (size,
duration, etc), added some basic performance timing,
