Łukasz Langa	09b77165e3	[3.6] bpo-30983: eval frame rename in pep 0523 broke gdb's python extension (GH-2803) (#3090 ) pep 0523 renames PyEval_EvalFrameEx to _PyEval_EvalFrameDefault while the gdb python extension only looks for PyEval_EvalFrameEx to understand if it is dealing with a frame. Final effect is that attaching gdb to a python3.6 process doesnt resolve python objects. Eg. py-list and py-bt dont work properly. This patch fixes that. larryhastings	e9b34c1100	Add "Misc/NEWS.d" directory tree for "blurb". GH-2329 CPython workflow is changing! We're going to start using "blurb" to manage Misc/NEWS entries: https://github.com/python/core-workflow (This will be a big win for release managers, honest.) This checkin simply populates the "Misc/NEWS.d" subdirectory tree so that people can start putting their news entries in there. No other changes (yet).	2017-06-22 17:38:47 -07:00

pep 0523 renames PyEval_EvalFrameEx to _PyEval_EvalFrameDefault while the gdb python extension only looks for PyEval_EvalFrameEx to understand if it is dealing with a frame.

CPython workflow is changing!  We're going to start using "blurb"
to manage Misc/NEWS entries:
    https://github.com/python/core-workflow

This checkin simply populates the "Misc/NEWS.d" subdirectory tree
so that people can start putting their news entries in there.
No other changes (yet).
