    I added a test to assert that when the first line of text passed to

    Avoid exception if there's a stray directory inside a Maildir folder.

    The Maildir specification doesn't seem to say anything about this
    situation, and it can happen if you're keeping a Maildir mailbox in
    Subversion (.svn directories) or some similar system. The patch just
    ignores directories in the cur/, new/, tmp/ folders.

Guido van Rossum be19ed77dd Fix most trivially-findable print statements.
There's one major and one minor category still unfixed:
doctests are the major category (and I hope to be able to augment the
refactoring tool to refactor bona fide doctests soon);
other code generating print statements in strings is the minor category.

(Oh, and I don't know if the compiler package works.)

Kurt B. Kaiser df8a40fbf5 py-cvs-2000_07_13 (Rev 1.9) merge
"Delete goodname() method, which is unused. Add gotofileline(), a
convenience method which I intend to use in a
variant. Rename test() to _test()." --GvR

This was an interesting merge. The join completely missed removing
goodname(), which was adjacent, but outside of, a small conflict.
I only caught it by comparing the 1.1.3.2/1.1.3.3 diff. CVS ain't
infallible.
