* bpo-27593: Get SCM build info from git instead of hg. (#446)

sys.version and the platform module python_build(),
python_branch(), and python_revision() functions now use
git information rather than hg when building from a repo.

Based on original patches by Brett Cannon and Steve Dower.

Brian Coleman a6e84933d2 bpo-29683 - Fixes to _PyCode_SetExtra when co_extra->ce->extras is (#402) 
allocated.

On PyMem_Realloc failure, _PyCode_SetExtra should free co_extra if
co_extra->ce_extras could not be allocated.
On PyMem_Realloc success, _PyCode_SetExtra should set all unused slots in
co_extra->ce_extras to NULL.

Nick Coghlan 0683d6889b [3.6] bpo-29571: Use correct locale encoding in test_re (#149) (#153) 
``local.getlocale(locale.LC_CTYPE)`` and
``locale.getpreferredencoding(False)`` may give different answers
in some cases (such as the ``en_IN`` locale).

``re.LOCALE`` uses the latter, so update the test case to match.
