Victor Stinner 42dfd71333 unicode_kind_name() doesn't check consistency anymore
It is is called from _PyUnicode_Dump() and so must not fail.

Victor Stinner a3b334da6d PyUnicode_Ready() now sets ascii=1 if maxchar < 128
ascii=1 is no more reserved to PyASCIIObject. Use
PyUnicode_IS_COMPACT_ASCII(obj) to check if obj is a PyASCIIObject (as before).

not a unicode, instead of failing with a fatal error.

PyLong_AsDouble() and PyLong_AsUnsignedLongLong() now raise TypeError (rather
than SystemError) when passed a non-integer argument, matching the behavior of
all the other PyLong_As*() functions.

Antoine Pitrou 093c8e4bf0 Issue #12149: Update the method cache after a type's dictionnary gets
cleared by the garbage collector.  This fixes a segfault when an instance
and its type get caught in a reference cycle, and the instance's
deallocator calls one of the methods on the type (e.g. when subclassing
IOBase).

Diagnosis and patch by Davide Rizzo.

cleared by the garbage collector.  This fixes a segfault when an instance
and its type get caught in a reference cycle, and the instance's
deallocator calls one of the methods on the type (e.g. when subclassing
IOBase).

Diagnosis and patch by Davide Rizzo.

subinterpreter to fix a bootstrap issue with codecs implemented in Python, as
the ISO-8859-15 codec.

Add fscodec_initialized attribute to the PyInterpreterState structure.
