Benjamin Peterson 888a39b54c remove test_support.TestSkipped and just use unittest.SkipTest 2009-03-26 20:48:25 +00:00
Brett Cannon 2a86913864 Deprecated the mhlib module for removal in 3.0. 2008-05-11 03:01:47 +00:00
Tim Peters 6782d6aa91 We don't really need the name of the test in the "test skipped" msg, and
having it there causes the line to wrap.

Tim Peters 32ef169339 Finally got around to figuring out and documenting why this test fails
on Windows. The test_sequence() ERROR is easily repaired if we're
willing to add an os.unlink() line to mhlib's updateline(). The
test_listfolders FAIL I gave up on -- I don't remember enough about Unix
link esoterica to recall why a link count of 2 is something a well-
written program should be keenly interested in <wink>.

Barry Warsaw 04f357cffe Get rid of relative imports in all unittests. Now anything that
imports e.g. test_support must do so using an absolute package name
such as "import test.test_support" or "from test import test_support".

This also updates the README in Lib/test, and gets rid of the
duplicate data dirctory in Lib/test/data (replaced by
Lib/email/test/data).

Now Tim and Jack can have at it. :)

Fred Drake 2e2be3760c Change the PyUnit-based tests to use the test_main() approach. This
allows using the tests with unittest.py as a script. The tests will
still run when run as a script themselves.

Jack Jansen dbc363ce35 The test assumed that the local pathname convention for "foo" would sort before "foo/bar", which is not true on the mac (where they are "foo" and ":foo:bar", respectively; ":foo" would be fine too, but "foo" is the preferred spelling). Fixed by sorting the output. 2001-08-11 23:22:43 +00:00
