Deily, which is based on original patches by Brett Cannon and Steve
Dower.

Remove also the private _Py_svnversion() function and SVNVERSION
variable.

Note: Py_SubversionRevision() and Py_SubversionShortBranch() are
unchanged, they are part of the public API.

Martin Panter ed82604e3f Issue #25701: Document that some C APIs can both set and delete items
Also document that using the dedicated functions to delete items is
preferred. Using PyObject_SetAttr/String() and PySequence_SetItem/Slice() for
deletion is deprecated.

Martin Panter b362f75f6e Issue #25523: Correct "a" article to "an" article
This changes the main documentation, doc strings, source code comments, and a
couple error messages in the test suite. In some cases the word was removed
to fix the grammar.

Victor Stinner 7791165fb3 code_richcompare() now uses the constants types
Issue #25843: When compiling code, don't merge constants if they are equal but
have a different types. For example, "f1, f2 = lambda: 1, lambda: 1.0" is now
correctly compiled to two different functions: f1() returns 1 (int) and f2()
returns 1.0 (int), even if 1 and 1.0 are equal.

Add a new _PyCode_ConstantKey() private function.

Serhiy Storchaka c7797dc748 Issue #19543: Emit deprecation warning for known non-text encodings.
Backported issues #19619: encode() and decode() methods and constructors
of str, unicode and bytearray classes now emit deprecation warning for known
non-text encodings when Python is ran with the -3 option.

Backported issues #20404: io.TextIOWrapper (and hence io.open()) now uses the
internal codec marking system added to emit deprecation warning for known non-text
encodings at stream construction time when Python is ran with the -3 option.
