All signal.SIG* constants may not be defined on Windows so a call like
signal.signal(signal.SIGPIPE, lambda signum, frame: sys.exit(1))
will raise an AttributeError.
when interrupted by a signal not in the *sigset* parameter, if the signal
handler does not raise an exception. signal.sigtimedwait() recomputes the
timeout with a monotonic clock when it is retried.
Remove test_signal.test_sigwaitinfo_interrupted() because sigwaitinfo() doesn't
raise InterruptedError anymore if it is interrupted by a signal not in its
sigset parameter.
and/or change the signal mask of the calling thread.
Fix also tests of test_io using threads and an alarm: use pthread_sigmask() to
ensure that the SIGALRM signal is received by the main thread.

calls threading.currentThread.
The correction somewhat improves the code, but it was close.
Many thanks to the "with" construct, which turns python code into C calls.
I wonder if it is not better to sys.settrace(None) just after
running the __main__ module and before finalization.

Doh! os.read() raises an OSError, not an IOError when it's interrupted.
And fix some flakiness in test_itimer_prof, which could detect that the timer

Prevent test_sqlite from hanging on older versions of sqlite.
The problem is that when trying to do the second insert, sqlite seems to sleep
for a very long time. Here is the output from strace:

nanosleep({4294, 966296000}, <unfinished ...>
I don't know which version this was fixed in, but 3.2.1 definitely fails.
